Beaches

The Diocletian’s Palace – enrolled to the UNESCO’s list of World Heritage, the palace houses the historical cathedral of St. Duje, along with its famous bell tower that is the symbol of the city within the fantastic doors of Andrija Buvina.



Salona in Solin – this is an architectural wonder with an antique aqueduct that is still in use to this day.

Castles in Kaštela – formerly 24 castles, these sites are what this region was named after.

Poljudska ljepotica – the Hajduk soccer stadium is considered to be one of the most beautiful football stadiums in the world with its shell-like form.

Klis Fortress – Klis was built in the 9th century and it was the seat of the Croatian princes and kings Trpimirović, and in that capacity it was the Croatian capital city and later served as a defense against Turkish and Venetian invasions.

The Mestrovic gallery – a large gallery on the south side of Marjan, which is the legacy of Ivan Mestrovic, a world-renowned sculptor.
