Klis Fortress – Klis was built in the 9th century and it was the seat of the Croatian princes and kings Trpimirović, and in that capacity it was the Croatian capital city and later served as a defense against Turkish and Venetian invasions.
The Mestrovic gallery – a large gallery on the south side of Marjan, which is the legacy of Ivan Mestrovic, a world-renowned sculptor.
